Crash Bandicoot is a orange marsipial, well, more known as a Bandicoot. Crash was originally just a plain old Bandicoot, until Dr. Neo Cortex wanted to take over the world/islands and have Crash the leader of his super animals. As Crash was heading into the evolvo ray, he notices the rest of the animals, and then is shocked with a beam. The beam is told to have given Crash his trademark spin attack, allowing him to attack enemies and whatnot. As soon as this occurs (before the brain washing), he notices his girlfriend Tawna, and the two lab assistants are keeping her away from Crash. Crash escapes from the evolvo ray as soon as possible, and Cortex is chasing him, yelling "Get that Bandicoot!", and Crash finally stops as soon as he see he crashed into a window, and before he falls...he yells "Uh oh". Now Crash embarks on a journey to save his girlfriend, and on N. Sanity Island, Crash stomps on a crate and pops out a mask! The mask is known to be, Aku-Aku. He tells him all this stuff, and then he says he can protect him (Japanese version). Now Crash starts his adventure!

 Crash was no ordinary Bandicoot, he was a Orange loving-to-spin-and-destroy-Dr.-Cortex's-evil-plans, kind of Bandicoot. Crash originally lived on an island called N. Sanity Island (from Crash Bandicoot-Crash Twinsanity), then Crash moves to Wumpa Island, the second Island where Crash lives. Which of all, there all three islands. N. Sanity Island, Wumpa Island, and Cortex Island. Crash decides to move to Wumpa Island in Crash Of The Titans, and currently lives there. The story of why he moved to Wumpa Island is because N. Gin became leader of the island (as said in Mind Over Mutant) unfortunately. But in the end of Crash Of The Titans and the end Crash mind Over Mutant a piece of junk crashes into the island, and no one cleans it up. In Mind Over Mutant, you can still play on Wumpa Island, but the Doominator is covering part of the island.
